Man Shot In Albany Park, Man Stabbed In Portage Park
A man was shot on Saturday on the 4400 block of N Kedzie, unrelated, a man was stabbed on the 4400 block of N Cicero during a robbery overnight.
A man was stabbed overnight on the 4400 block of N Cicero around 11:40 P.M. The victim walked into to the Amoco gas station near Montrose and Cicero and said he had been stabbed during a robbery.
The man reported that a Black male, wearing a gray hoodie, approximately 5’4”-5’5” had stabbed him during a robbery and took his phone, wallet and car keys. The man fled northbound after the incident. Police were able to determine a man matching the description was seen entering the Montrose Blue Line after the incident occurred. The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in fair condition. No one is in custody.
Last night, a man walked into the 25th District Chicago Police station to report he had been shot on February 25. Police called an ambulance to the station around 10:56 P.M. for the victim.
The victim was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital and reported he had been shot in the right hand Saturday near the 4400 block of N Kedzie in Albany Park. The victim said he was sitting at the light near Montrose and Kedzie when a black Jeep pulled up alongside him and began to fire shots. The 17th district did respond to shots fired on Saturday and recovered bullet fragments and found a damaged window. The victim was listed in good condition.
No is in custody for the shooting in Albany Park and the investigation remains ongoing. The victim is known to police.
