Chicago Police officer Andrews appeared in bond court and was given a $10,000 i-bond by a Cook County judge, while Chicago fireman Stieglitz was given a $1,500 i-bond at the 16th district police station as he was only charged with a misdemeanor.
Readers are reminded all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Well at least he will not lose his job. The job is tough, emotions often run high. This kind of stuff happens on every single fire department and anyone who’s says otherwise is clueless or a liar.
Hopefully feelings can be mended over a few beers.
